I don’t think it is a 3 hour walk. People walked back from Mina/Arafat within an hour, and some even less than that. It took much longer on the buses cause of the traffic system there. Actually, I am thinking of the stoning location, it took 45 minutes to walk from there to the Haram in Mecca. I didn’t want to walk it cause of all the people spitting/blowing their nose in the streets puke … the bus system is chaotic though. One bus driver in front of us had a fight with another bus driver, screaming “khalas khalas” … next thing you know, we are all sitting in the bus for hours cause the buses refused to budge forward while they argued.
