Re: My neighbour flirts with my husband

@redvelvet

Whether it’s flirting or not…it doesn’t matter. If you’ve expressed to your husband that it makes you uncomfortable, then he should stop interacting with her unnecessarily. It’ s not like she’s his coworker or his relative with whom he has to maintain contact with. Tell him about the strange behavior that you noticed in her and that it makes you uneasy and request him to keep a distance. It seems you’ve already spoken to him about this because by your own admission your neighbor has sensed that he is “avoiding” her…and if husband is doing so out of consideration for you, then it’s a good thing AH.

The next time this neighbornee calls you when you are out of the home…return her call and confront her. It need not be nasty. You can be civil but firm. But you should definitely call her out on it by asking her why she frequently feels the need to call when you’re away from home and who exactly from your household she wishes to speak with. It’ll make her squirm and hopefully she’ll get the message. If not, reinforce it by telling her that firstly you tend to be very busy even when you’re at home and that if it is absolutely “zaroori” for her to call or make a visit…that she should do so when you are also at home as it’s just more appropriate that way and you can better assist her. :halo: That way you’re setting a boundary and you’re also letting her know indirectly that you’re busy and not that open to entertaining guests. She should get it then. Hopefully.

Thanks for your advise I will just do that and really appreciate for everyone’s advise.
