* Also, Pakistan, Indonesia and Singapore have cumulatively given approx. US$ 1.7 million. The break-up is as follows:- Pakistan US$ 550k, Indonesia US$ 750k, Singapore – US$ 404k [highest-ever for Bollywood film].
My Name Is Khan has become the biggest Hindi film in the Overseas markets. It also must be noted that the film has had around 75 more prints in circulation than any other film till date. This figure will be around 200 more prints when it releases in Germany, Poland and Turkey in May. The business from various regions is as follows.

My Name Is Khan has crossed the $15.50 million figure of Three idiots to become the highest grosser overseas but Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is still regarded as the biggest hit Overseas as that film grossed a huge $8 million in 2001 and the market then was half of what it is now. My Name Is Khan may finish at around $17.5 million after its 100 print plus release in Europe in May.
Any new film marketed by Fox or Sony or Columbia in West…will do go in markets outside India, but should we not look at biggest All Time Grossing films, whether its in South Asia, Australia, Middle East. Because in the end what matters is numbers, not where they came from?
