Aamir Khan may be known for his perfectionism in terms of acting and filmmaking in the industry but when it came to accept few realities, the actor started fretting for a reason he only knows.
Aamir is finding it hard these days to accept the success MNIK has shown with its release. Buzz is doing rounds that MNIK may emerge out to be the biggest blockbuster of the decade and if this happens, Aamir would sure find it difficult to accept the fact.
This is because Aamir is not too pleased with the reports of MNIK that is giving a strong competition to his film ‘3 Idiots’ and feels that the box-office report is being fed to media by SRK camp.
Well, now one would surely wonder why does an actor of his stature stoop down to such level to prove his worth in the industry. Had SRK camp would be spreading fake reports to media for MNIK, then ‘Billu’ would have also got similar outstanding remarks as it was SRK’s home production movie.
Dont know about box office success, but "3 Idiots" was definitely a better movie. Btw, I think this article is just speculation. It does not have a singled quote from Aamir where he says that MNIK success is fake.
I didn't like 3 Idiots too much because a lot of scenes were clear rip offs that I've seen before in other movies, commercials etc., but overall it was still watch worthy. My Name Is Khan on the other hand was cheesy as hell and I wish I could get the two and a half hours of my life that I spent watching this movie back.
