ok so I wore my mother's gharaara on my rukhsati and I wanted to show everyone the before and after
here's the before (march 24, 1976):

and here's the after, when I wore it 33 years after (december 6, 2009) with extra kaam and a totally new shirt and dupatta:

why am I showing this? because I want all the girls out there who think that their mom's clothes are too outdated to realize that you can revamp renovate whatever her wedding dress, make it timeless and beautiful and up to date and make it your own
