yes they are called kaleere and no they are not a tradition but on each of my functions I wanted to do something unique
for the mehndi i wore a laacha which no one in my family has worn along with a rajisthani tikka/maatha patti and rajisthani payal and I came in on a doli (my poor brothers they still complain abt their poor shoulders hehe

on rukhsati i revamped my mom’s gharaara and wore kaleere (YOU’VE SEEN THE PICS :D)
on valeema i wore a lehnga that had two layers a layer of jamawar with a layer of net over it…ontop of it it had a train and the dupatta was made of 1 piece of blue jamawar one piece of blue net and 2 pieces of pink jamawar sewn together ..i also had a very unique plaitunum and diamond set which was causing huge stress for my husband he was scared it would get stolen from me on our way to the venue lol
