What is this? Liquid fruit salad?

Here’s mine:

  1. Milk
  2. Yogurt
  3. Ice Cubes
  4. Sugar
  5. Salt

Pour’em all in the blender and blend it away. Voila! The result is greating tasting, refreshing lussi. MMMmmmmm :yummy:

Re: My lussi recipe

Try adding some mint leaves to it too. And you can also add some perrier water along with milk.

Re: My lussi recipe

sadiyah
u are just jealous cause u didn’t think of it.:nahnah:

I like lassi the way u described but that’s just too ordinary.

ff
mint leaves? Sounds interesting.
Is perrier water used to make it fuzzy or does it do
something else as well???

Re: My lussi recipe

makes it fuzzy. Had it at an iranian restaurant, they put salt (no sugar) and dried mint leaves in it, but just a bit though.

Re: My lussi recipe

^ namkeen lassi is called laban in arabic i think.. i just love it!

Re: My lussi recipe

Re: My lussi recipe

Mujhay bhi koi bana day smoothie?

Re: My lussi recipe

I like the basic stuff best with water, yogurt, sugar, salt and ice.

Sometime I do mango lassi. Mint sounds good. I will try it.

Sajal: What is the texture of almonds? Are they chunky or fully ground?

Re: My lussi recipe

Afia
yeah mango lussi is good too.

walkind on water
I like to fully ground em.

OH one question
is it dried mint leaves or fresh ones or deosn't matter?

And how much salt? A pinch or more then that?

Re: My lussi recipe

sajal....:) we used to dry mint leaves ...store in an air tight jar n use it whenever required....n salt is according to taste .....i like just a pinch ....n my mum prefers more

Re: My lussi recipe

does the apple go well with milk and yogurt? because i thought that apples don't go well with milk..

rest of the ingredients sounds yummy..so i'll try the recipe soon.

Re: My lussi recipe

Please don’t call it lussi. Ye lassi ki shaan mein gustaakhi hai. You can call it anything else you want, e.g. “Sajal Special Drink” or something.

Re: My lussi recipe

qrius

faisal
fine then it shall be called apple, almond, yogurt smoothie.
Kesa?
