hi, I’m a bit stuck now… i got a white lengha with silver diamanté work on it… but im stuck with jewellery and the backdrop of my stage… I don’t want to blend in to it…
should i just go for the diamond stone jewellery look?
do you think I will look plain wearing white? im really worried. Ive never been keen on gold jewellery that’s why i didn’t go for gold embroidery..
My cousin had a black velvet backdrop for her stage, extending all the way across the stage, and then covered in hanging candles. I think that would look amazing with white clothes.

what should I do about the decor for this colour...
You have several options...depending on the "look" your'e going for...
since your dress is white and silver...you can use pretty much anything as an "accent" color to be used from your jewelery to your decor and even to the groom's outfitting.
Black can be very modern and sophisticated, not to mentoin unique..Go for silver/diamond/white gold jewelery, with a black background....with him in black/white/silver attire....
Another color that will look nice and classic will be a pale ferozi or aqua green. Even if the dress doesn't have htat color, u can incorporate it into your jewelery such as getting beads in that color, or with your churiyan... and have that as your background color...
Hot pink (or any variation of pink ;)) is another alternative for a background and decor..... (jus tnot a groom sherwani :D)
i know a girl who is getting married in september and her walimah lehnga is also white and silver and her hubby will wear a white three piece suit…she showed me her walimah moodboard that she came up with, with her wedding planner…it was quite stunning!
she is going to wear white gold and sapphire jewelry and her hubby will wear a sapphire tie with silver swarovski crystals on it/cufflinks. the stage backdrop will be midnight/sapphire blue with fairy lights and small mirrors hanging vertically. they are having a white jhoola with sapphire and silver cushions and flowers around the frame of the jhoola spray painted in silver. the same flowers will be used for the centre pieces in sapphire vases and white tablecloths with the mirrors scattered around the base of the vase. its very different and i know it will look stunning.
i think kundan/polki jewelry would look great…something like this maybe:
or…
i think you should add a bit of colour in the jewelry which you could incorporate into the decor
yeah it will be great...it was actually a theme that we discussed when we were just 16 at school...i even did a watercolour painting and a collage of it which she has kept all this time...i didnt think she would actually go for it!
My walima dress is the same color as yours. The back border of dupatta will be a pale ferozi type color so I plan on using that as one of the accents for the backdrop. Anyshade of ferozi, turquoise or blue looks great with white as it really makes the white pop.
