Holey Moley!!! I’ve been using Latisse for about 9 days now and my GOODNESS, my lashes are bigger and thicker already!! I cant beleive it, you can actually see my lashes now without using a lash curler or mascara!! woo-hoo!!!

Yes, if you stop using it then your lashes will eventually return to their prior state. I plan to keep using it daily for 12 weeks when the full effect is reached and then use it only every couple of days to maintain.
Latisse is a prescription that was used for glaucoma and it was discovered that a side effect was to make eyelashes grow.
i almost bought into that but read the fine print it can permanently damage your eyes, or leave discolored marks on your eyeball ...i'd pass.
stick to rubbing vitamin e oil on your lashes at night.

The "damage" it can cause is that in rare cases, it increases brown pigmentation in the iris. So if you have blue eyes, there is a small chance that you'll end up with brown eyes. Permanently. Since my eyes are already brown ... no matter to me lol! It has no effect on eyesight or eye performance unless you have glaucoma in which case youd need to be followed by an optomologist when using it.

Yes, its expensive, and thats what I paid for a one-month supply. The way I figure it, it will last one month. Next order will last 2 months since I will not use it daily once my lashes have reached fullness. And after that, it should be about 120 for 3 months. Not cheap but heck, I'm worth it lol!

I've been seeing a lot of the Brooke Shields commercials for this and was wondering about it. I was just paranoid about getting any possible pigmentation---if it's just in the iris that's fine since I've got brown eyes anyway, but it would really suck to get any sort of speckles or spots outside the iris---is that a risk?
Glad to know you're having a good experience with it---my two beauty complexes have always been my skimpy lashes and my imperfect teeth.

First, Latisse IS Lumigan. Its just another name because its a different company. And sure, once you get a prescription, you can shop around - I actually got a coupon for my next purchase from Latisse - a one-month supply for 79 dollars.
The brown pigmentation possibilities are indeed limited to the iris. And also, the skin on the lash line where you paint the medication can sometimes darken.But it does NOT cause speckles or darkening of the whites of your eyes.
My lashes are becoming both longer and thicker. Its amazing really. Esp since I've not been using it faithfully - I average every other day and its still producing great results.
Really, I have to say that while it was expensive, its money well spent and makes me very happy!
Wow I have been wanting to get latisse for a long time now but was scared of the side effects...so did you just go in to the doctor and say that you wanted fuller lashes?

Actually Iwent to latisse dot com and ordered from there. There were a few questions that you have to answer, a doc reviews your answers and then give the script if you "pass". Then you are sent a secure site to order from.
The other way is to see your regular doc and just ask for the script.
^Interesting. I wonder if it's any cheaper if you get a written prescrip through your doc and buy at a pharmacy. $79 is steep but if it works well could be worth it for some women.
