I wanted to share some of the ways I use henna as an artform. Of course the traditions for back thousands of years when henna is used on the body, but henna can also be used on canvas and wood. Some even put henna on candles. There is a lot you can do with henna.
I want to post links or pics of my work, but I have to wait till I reach a certain number of posts before I can link them to my site. I have a collection on flickr.com and it’s under Henna Sooq. When I have enough posts I’ll try to come back and post the link up for easier navigation
hhhhm yeah haven't mastered that as yet. I might have to find a way to upload the pics one a time, plus I only have a few I'd want to post anyhow. I think there is an image option right above and will look at it in a min.
Well henna makes everyone part of the community, and being Muslim there is no doubt, pakistanis all around me :) it is very diverse here for sure! (diverse in Brampton, where we live now)
thanks. No it doesn't wither off because it is sealed with a sealant that we can get at the craft store. You can use spray or brush on the liquid type and let it dry and voila! Sealed art!

I wonder why it’s coming out small for you Paki_girl, but it’s coming up on the forum in a good size for me.
PLEASE NOTE THIS: All of the pictures I am posting so in fact belong to me and I am the artist who has done all of this henna work. Please do not take my pictures without permission and if you would like to show anyone else you can as long as you give me credit for my work, by linking my website Henna Sooq to the photos. Thanks I really appreciate it. I just hate it when people steal my work and don’t ask.
