Re: My Handwriting!
How come my handwriting has been moved to Images central and Phoenix is in Personal? There is no consistency on GS!

Actually, there IS consistency on gupshup, users just need to open their eyes and pay a little closer attention to the dates before accusing moderators of not being consistent:
Phoenix's thread was opened on: May 11
The new rule came into effect on:** June 21**
Your thread was opened on: September 17
Apply logic and figure out why your thread was moved and why Phoenix's thread stayed there. If you have any difficulty, feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to help. The post that I am going to quote below says NO WHERE that we will retroactively move threads that were opened prior to the announcement.

**Effective immediately, we have a new policy in effect:
Any thread that contains no pictures with people in it will be moved to images 3. That includes threads that have pictures of only food, art, objects etc., or anything where the mods feel that the focus is not on people. For such threads, please utilize images 3 forum.
PM me if you have any questions.
Thanks.

Thank you for explaining to me...I feel so much better now.
I did apply logic that the thread should be in Image central. However Phoenix's thread was in personal. Furthermore it had been there for some time and hadn't been moved to image central so logic dictated that I post my thread in personal also.
You might say that I should have checked the policy but is it really practical to check policies everytime to post a thread? If you notice a similar thread already in a section or sub-section then one is entitled to assume that one can also post in that section. Communication goes a long way and I think the onus should be on you to explain why the thread had been moved rather than for me to ask you why it had been moved.
Re: My Handwriting!
^ You are right, it's not practical to check for new policies; however, that post was there as an announcement (meaning visible above all threads) for a month. Then it was there as a sticky. Then it was merged with the thread. I made sure I give members enough time to read/understand the policy. I personally hate to throw things at members and get them by surprise. I did my best that I could. Now you know what kind of threads belong where, if not sure, that's what mods are for; we'll move them where they belong. :)
May I also add that as a general rule, when one is unsure about something, the nice thing to do is ask (without accusing).
