My haircare recipe

I just invented it but im not sure if it was a right recipe to have made and applied. So my hair was getting quite rough lately and I was put off because I have nice hair masha Allah and its indigestible to see it in a bad condition. I think my hair needs some health and nutrition so I mixed mehndi and amla reetha sikakai powder together in equal quantities and added an egg to and applied. Have any one of you ever tried such a combination? How did it turn out? Im afraid what if I wash my hair and it starts falling during washing. Does it sound something alright and healthy?

Re: My haircare recipe

try mayo, it will do wonders.

Re: My haircare recipe

my colleague tried it and her hair was allll sticky and smelling mayo:bummer:

Re: My haircare recipe

mehndi   i hate mehndi and its smell:eek:

Re: My haircare recipe

Amala or maybe its Shikakhai that does make the hair rough, why not try deep conditioning?

Re: My haircare recipe

^ I did that again   I mean the same recipe. But this time after washing the mehndi out I applied Aamla oil and now Im hoping tomorrow for much better results when I wash the oil out. Last time I just washed and next day the hair had volume but silkiness was quite gone. Your right the Amla sikakai does bring volume to the hair but makes it rougher all the way too. I hope oil is going to redress that now.

As for mayo, I used to make mixture of this yogurt and oil and apply on hair. Its a kind of mayo too as atleast it smells like that  But its not that clammy and sticky as I imagine mayo should be and it gives equally wonderful results. Atleast for the conditioning.

Im not a big fan of market available conditioners it be the bestest of brands. It always breaks my hair and though it gets instant silkiness it feels like rather thinner :vivo:

Re: My haircare recipe

ya u re right, mayo has a weird smell lols but there is no doubt tht amla reetha shakakai does wonders to hair, I also prefer home made stuff over outside conditioners wagira. becuz no matter what, they do have harmful chemicals.
