my hair is fried :(

hmm so i got it permed quite a long time ago, maybe 4 yrs ago or so and its growing out now (yeah my hair grows really slowly). Anywayz there was a time where i never went without blow drying it straight. ive stopped now cuz ive come to like the waves that have taken form now …but theres a problem, i wanna striaghten it cuz its reaaaaaaaallly long now, but when i did (like 3 months ago) it looked fried, all dry. anyway to make it look healthy?

i have kinda oily hair, and as i need to use a bit of moose for the curls i also need to wash it more often. Another question…any good moose out there that gives volume?

Re: my hair is fried :frowning:

Garnier Fructis XXXL line is good… anything Garnier is good :k:

Re: my hair is fried :(

Oh dear. To revive your hair from the fried look I would recommend Phyto Phytonectar Ultra Nourishing Oil Treatment, it’s pricy about $25 for only an ounce but it works miraculously (get it). Start using heat protective spray like Sebastian before straightening your hair or blow drying it.

If you want to try a home remedy than apply mayonnaise in your hair and wash it out after 20 minutes. Or cut your hair short and start all over.

Pantene hair products are usually good. Try their moose!

Re: my hair is fried :(

Yes I have, otherwise I wouldn't recommend something that pricy .

Re: my hair is fried :frowning:

now try boiling them :elmo:

Re: my hair is fried :(

Always use a good heat protection product before you straighten your hair, and run a couple of drops of serum through the ends afterwards to ease the frizzy look.

You probably need to get your hair trimmed though........if you're using heated styling products on hair that already has split ends then the split ends will just extend up the hair shaft, which no amount of styling products will fix.
