Just a little update - Some of you may be aware that i ordered some suits off GA by giving false passport number (note to self: remembered that i forgot the number that i gave what will i do next time - Duuu - details!!!)
Anyway i refused to send a copy of passport either and thought i would wait to see what would happen - and THEY CAME!!!
I am well chuffed (except my SIL’s both opened the parcel… before me.
The clothes are lovely - the pink embriodered one is expensive but well worth the money - it looks fab…

Glad they turned up and that you are happy with your purchase :)........although i'm a little confused.. why on earth did they need your passport no? Never heard of anyone asking for passport no especially for something like clothes. I would understand if it was a bigger purchase from abroad..eg. car etc.
And is this standard practice for designers to ask for a PASSPORT when shipping overseas? I would never hand over that kind of info to people! It's bad enough that you have my credit card and address!

From what i could gather they need the passport to confirm address (why they can't use a bill etc - i don't know) - I've tried so many times to order but kept losing my nerve at the passport hurdle.
But the clothes are lovely - i hae to admit the colours are different to the onces advertised. There are three suits that i have sold to friends because the colours were not what i liked.
But the brought the pink emboidered one and it is so worht it - looks fabulous.
anyone wanting to place an order - just do it (they really want the money - and it is us pardesi'sd that keep them in business!!!)
hI Littlemiss, sorry for all the questions bab, but were the colours they sent through different from what you ordered or did they just look different in real life compared with the website?
No- they were very good they sent the ones that I ordered but to be honest apart from about 3 the rest of them were not exactly like the pics - they were much duller than they were on the website.
I love the others (i know i keep saying it but the pink one is lovely...!!). I might try the ready-mades next time.......if i remember the passport number i used!!
I got my suits yesterday yay!! but one is the wrong suit :( I dont know how to return it and how long the process will be but i am very pleased with the rest of the order Really happy with the order except for that one mishap, but ladies do order they are sooooooo worth it.
hi sumo, where are u based hun? if its in the UK u can contact their office in manchester and they can sort it out for u. how long did it take for your orderto arrive? I'm really tempted to order a couple of tops i've seen but giving my passport number is putting me off

Im an expat to Saudi, but from the UK so i have to contact pakistan for the mess up about the order. Inshallah if i get this sorted im going to order a few more suits to our home in the UK as they were sooooooooooo nice. Inshallah will be there for the summer with the family. Hopefully get them sewn in slough. Also the suits did take a month to come from pakistan to Saudi they were saying they didnt have R-10 in stock. That was the delay but now have to amend the previous order before i start any other.
WS Sumosabs, thanks for that, i think i might take the plunge and put thru my order, i really like some of their ready made stuff but i've noticed some of the tops arent available any more so i'd better get a move on. I hope you get order sorted soon,
