Yes, i thoroughly cleaned out the heatsink/fan. I had to take off the heatsink for better access to all the nooks/crannies.
What's the thumb rule for thermal paste on GPU? Is it the same as CPUs...a very thin layer between cpu and heatsink? Or is it supposed to be thicker?
Reason i ask is because when i took off the heatsink, the paste looked pretty thick (factory, so must've been applied heavily), does the same amount have to be applied again? I applied average amount, a semi-thick layer, enough to maintain contact with heatsink plate and chip.
