I have a girlfriend who claims she loves me a lot we have been together so nearly 10 months now but she always say I cant marry you but she will always say I love you and I cant live without you why??? even I know its bit too early to get married now but I have hopes 1 day I want to marry her but she wont even say that or think that way all she says is I wont marry you and you will get hurt ): we have a argument every other day and we don’t talk for many days I miss her everyday I cry too and I know she loves me too and she feels lonely and cant sleep without talking to me then why does she say she wont marry me??? I’m only writing this because I know she reads this forums and I hope she will read my post because we are currently not talking But I miss her and hence im writing this post. I wont call her im too scared this has never happened to me before but I hope she will call me after reading this coz I miss my Bacha badly I love you jaan ): we work together but on different departments and different floors we hardly see each other at work Today I went and dropped something off at her work and she was on call I couldn’t even see her face I walked away I left a note for her but she hasn’t even texted me WHY Doesn’t SHE LOVE ME??? Is she that scared or upset that she cant take the first step and call me??? I remember I use to make fun of her and tell her off for reading this stuff or even going on this site but look what you have made me do today. I got a head ache after reading your post. Probably she is also avoiding you for the same reason. Brother, you need to calm down and give her some breathing space to think before reacting to any of your words/actions. May be your thought process and actions are too fast for her to cope with.
At times we are too quick to say, act and then expect a reaction as quickly. It shows a sign of hyper impatience and you don't want to give her an impression that you don't have anything else to do in life.
Having said that, mashaAllah you are very loving and caring by nature.

@Delboy....just because your girlfriend loves you doesn't necessarily have to mean that she's ready for marriage. Maybe she's not mentally/emotionally prepared for such a life-altering decision.
You said that you both aruge every other day....which is A LOT. I think that you need to give her space because it seems to me that's what she wants. Your frequent contacting her...texting her...visiting her at work (which CAN be annoying) could drive her further away from you...if it hasn't already. Just take a step back...allow yourself some space as well....so you can reflect over the relationshp too and figure out whether this is something you really want to invest your time and energy in. Again, give yourself and her some space.

Why don't men behave in the same way for the same girl friend after they get married and she becomes his wife ? Unfortunately then, the behaviors are swapped (in some cases)
