  1. Saeed Anwar (Coach+Manager), Ijaz Ahmed (Assistant + Fielding Coach), Aqib Javed (Bowling)

  2. Mudassar Nazar (Coach + Manager), Aqib Javed (Bowling Coach)

  3. Moin Khan (Coach), Zaheer Abbas (Manager), Aqib Javed (Bowling Coach)

  4. Shaoib Muhammad (Coach), Ijaz Ahmed (fielding), Aqib Javed (Bowling)

and Shahid Afridi as Captain of all formats

Aqib Javed sucks, we need somebody like Wasim Akram as fast bowling coach, somebody like Saqlain as coach for spinners, and Saeed Anwar or Miandad as batting coach, all of the coaches have to work under a Manager, and any person with good administrative and PR skills can be Manager....

I prefer Aqib because he has the past under 19 and A team experience with almost all of the current pacers .... as Wasim Akram is not available and may be he will not work under any coach .... that is why the only choice left is Aqib ....Saeed Anwar .... i think Pak Team needs person like Saeed to coach and manage them .... In my opinion coach feels better if he has the power to manage the resources and time ..... and as there will be no difference between coach and manager then Captain will feel better and can put confidence in him .... on other hand manager (usually a very senior and old person) will try to hijack the management .... and this will cause grouping

Wasim Akram should be the bowling Coach as we already are short of fast bowlers and Junaid Khan need some guidance too he can be the next Amir

And Miandad or Zaheer should be the bowling coach

**I actually prefer a foreigner as head coach (because he w'd be impartial and above all political bakvaas), someone like Tom Moody, but in the current security situation of Pakistan, can't see that happening in the near future

Agreed. Aaqib deserves his chance after countless chances given to the likes of Intikhab, Miandad and etc, Its about time we get a professional local coach.

Than we will have favoritism and tantrum on daily basis and retirement at the end of each match only to come back at the purisraar demand of the public or fix entries in wikpedia to say "bahio koi toh mujhey wapsi bulaye"

Also other all rounders will suffer.

Guys, this is definitely Fantasy Team Mgmt. I dont think anyone with merit with management skills will be a team manager. See from our poor history of team managers. It seems like they will have a foreigner as team coach. If that person will want a bowling coach/fielding coach or not, has to be seen. I think Saeed Anwar will make a good batting coach. Fielding will always suck no matter who you hire, even if you get Jonty Rhodes to work with them fulltime. Its the personal committment that is lacking not the skills.

5 names have been short listed ..... by intikhab and company ..... so we have to wait and see who is closer to butt sahab ...... according to some reports dean jones , aqib javed or muddassar nazar are favourite for the job ...... with mohsin as interim coach i think it is all Ijaz butt with final ball six now ...... announcing coach on the last day of his chairmanship ...... and it will be huge surprise six as always .........

i think with head coach we should also groom local coaches such as ali raza by selecting him as assistant coach ........

still in favour of Saeed anwar as head coach with Aqib as bowling and now Ali Raza / Ijaz Ahmed as fielding cum assistant coach

as for as captaincy is concerned i think Afridi is still best option for the job ....... with Hafeez emerging fast and furious as next future captain i think Afridi with Hafeez as vice will be a aggressive combination ............ Misbah should give his way to some young gun as Azhar Ali / Rameez ............ our future middle order will be based on Asad + Azhar +Rameez + Umar Akmal
