my frock dilemma...need ur help

so i just got a frock as gift from ma aunt..i loved the design n color…its made on pure shafoon.the frock is purple n trouser is white..

problem is this that length of the slip/lining/attachment is short inside the frock…its above the knees..n the frocks length is just above my feet…so will it look odd to wear it like that or is it ok to have smaller lining inside? have u seen such frocks… wt 2 do???

Re: my frock dilemma...need ur help

i tried on something that had a similar problem yesterday while i was shopping for a new outfit. honestly i thought it was strange but the girl swore that's becoming a new thing to kinda show the pants more... i didn't buy the outfit bc i'm still shopping around but i don't think it looked really bad. it was like a pale orange shirt and the pants were a shocking pink so you can vividly see where the lining stops and where the kameez's upper layer is longer but it somehow works.

Re: my frock dilemma...need ur help

Lining is usually shorter then the shirt by 2-3 inches. If it is more it might look odd. But you can make up for it by adding a few laces and ribbons etc.
