This one is my fav, I like how the dark color on the crease flares out a bit. Since this is practice, go really bold and use a black in the crease and a very light color on the lid…it’ll help you see what you’re doing right/wrong more clearly.
I think its a good idea. Light on the inside and a bold darker color to see where I am going wrong.
I do have a question for you ladies...
Marwah, in your avatar...all of your looks have a very clean finish when the color leaves the eyelid and goes out. How do you get your shadow to have such a definite line? It seems very very neat and I am having a hard time achieving that right now.
^Thanks Reha, the eyeshadow looks in my avatar all have a dark or vibrant color on the crease, that's why I suggested you play with darker colors especially on the crease so you can perfect the blending there. So far, your looks have been with light shimmery colors and with colors like those, it's hard to figure out where to stop the blending.
Do any of you ladies have deep-set eyes? I do...and I think that they're trickier to work with than eyes that are not deep-set. How do you your shading. I've heard/read that you want to avoid putting a darker shade in your crease as that will make the socket appear more prominent and make you eyes recede even further.....and that you're supposed to instead apply the darker brown/black shade on the brow bone. I do that..and it seems sort of odd. Maybe I'm not doing something right. Any ideas?
Reha try the tape again, press it against the back of your hand a few times to get the 'tackiness' out and place it at an angle starting from the corner of your eye to your temple. The inner corner should be the lightest color, darker in the corner and into the crease and the darkest right at the outer corner of the eye.
