I signed up on Myfitnesspal 2 weeks ago and so far I’ve lost 5lbs.
Does anyone use this to keep a track on exercise and diet? How’s it working for you
If you don’t know how it works, it’s basically a place where you can keep a track on your diet by entering exactly what you’ve eaten throughout the day. They have a search engine with all kinds of food, including roti!! So it adds your calories automatically. You also add your exercise and it subtracts the amount lost during exercise from the overall calories consumed.
Depending on your height, weight, gender and goals it tells you exactly how many calories you can consume per day and how much you would lose a week.
I’ve set up a goal to lose 15lbs, so I have 10 more to go. I hope I don’t plateau, the last 10 are the hardest..
Did you eat all your calories? I'm not eating all my calories, I always have about 200-300 left every day.. Idk somehow I think if I eat them I wont lose.
I have lost about 6-7 pounds...I have a lot to lose, so I am sure thats one reason the weight's coming off quicker.
I have the same question as the OP...did you guys eat your exercise calories?
also, did you eat whatever you wanted within the calorie limit or only healthy stuff?
I do find myself eating a bite of cheesecake or a packet of baked crisp once in a while...I know I can do without it...but losing weight would be much harder that way....
I started using it recently and its surprisingly it's really good. I use to use SELF.com but this site is much more integrated and user friendly and the success stories on it are just nothing short of pure inspiration.
I made a goal to be on it for 6 months. Lets see what happens.
I have been using this app since april and lost around 12 pounds. and simply loving it. need to lose more weight and will stick to it for sure!! i dont fulfill the whole calories and always have some left.
I was using it last summer and it really helped! You get to see exactly what you're taking in and losing calorie and nutritional wise! Gonna start using it again!
