I was checking every morning if they have appeared or not. And today I got up and saw the soil was full of tiny green shoots, I was elated. I’ll post most pics as they get older, inshaAllah.

Those tiny rocks are called perlite and it’s a kind of food for the plants.

Wow, very exciting! I used to love vegetable gardening but I live in the city now and my apartment doesn't have suitable light for growing anything indoors. I'm looking forward to the day I'll have my own seedlings again!

most vegi's need plenty of water and sun....but for most summer flowers you need only a warm window sill so you might be able to grow them but then once the frost season is over you have to put them outside in the sun.
But InshaAllah you'll be able to do all of your favourite gardening tasks one day.
