Thanks! Very informative. I never quite learned the grid technique. One last question, is there anyway to thicken the acrylic to get some texture and maybe shininess?

Yes … I never buy thin acrylic paint - the thicker variety is more expensive but then you know you have thick and can thin it out … Also, there is a Gloss Gel for acrylic you can buy too - I did use gloss in my painting too. I’ve been doing watercolour and acrylic on paper until now - but canvas is fun!
