we were meant to get hitched in dec, them 2 people passed away in our family, and so on and so forth, and also we couldnt get holidays until the summer..so we now getin married inshallah on 14th aug.....we dont live as in bf/gf hes my mums nephew and we were chatin as cusins up until we got engaged in september.....
does this satisfy everyone...?

he bought me a clock, a heart ring, a purse, a bag and some rose petals...all from the place he works, he remembered i wanted these things for a while...and they were in stock today..so he bought them....and left them on my table.. and im telling you guys cos here i am, b**tching about him, and telling you guys hes this and that and that and now i feel guilty. im not saying just cos hes bought me stuff i should now join his allegience and die being obedient, i mean i jsut feel so meannnnnn for being soooo meannnn about him, and making him out to be some freak....if i think back to what hes like, hes not as bad as ive made him out, and im begining to think IM the one with a problem and not HIM......Maybe i dont udnerstand, maybe i misunderstand. him asking me to cover my arse should be understood, not argued upon....i dont know any other guy who would happily let his wife walk around in revealing attire....and for the first time i guess i wouldnt want to marry one like that either.
i had a headache today , he also made me coffee and bought me my weekly magazines....
i feel like such a cow, he also spoke to me and said he would never control me, je just likes a few thigs such as wearing long tops over trousers/jeans and thats it......he didnt say anything else.... and even then he said it was up to me..
oh man do i feel like an idiot now....i feel like if he knew id trashed him on this site hed be hurt.....

But i still dont think u were unjustified as many peeple here r saying in the earlier comments.
Whats bad is bad, and whats good is good. Its a fact that paki-born guys are somwhat different i personality than western-borns. Comapred to westen born, They do expect thier wives to have less freedom and be of more what they want them to be.
And I dont think you made it clear to us earlier that u wear tight jean sthat make ur butt stickout, otherwise i wud have been on ur fiances side, rather thna urs sat the start.l
And his breakfats idea...i still thinks thats uncool.
Bringing flowers to show he loves u is great but the dosgy traits r still there which r still issues, that shudnt be forgotten or left unsorted under temporary sweetness cos they will probably crop up again.
Anyway way its nice to hear something good about the guy.

But, I just think its wrong and hypocritical of a guy not in nikah to be living and ordering a girl about like she was his wife.

easy mate, we dont need ur sympathy, opposites attract and i think marrying from back home gives u more to explore about each other coz ur so different! they maybe clever but that can also be a good trait, i personally wudnt wna marry a sada larka who cud be walked all over.. and with regards to ur last line about staying and marrying their counterparts.... 3 things were already predetermined at the time of when ur soul was made, ur birth, ur death and the day u have ur nikah... who u marry is all about whats in ur kismat theres no rule stating that u shud b so limited in chosing a spouse.... personally i dont like guys frm here either and im glad with my fiance from back home even tho we havent spoken for over a year coz of a fight!!
