I read the book more than a decade ago, I think. And I thought it was disgusting.
Khar is known for being evil n all ,....but Tehmina herself has no good reputation as well.

I found the book really annoying, yes he was a jerk but the writing was poor and the author really tried to make herself self so perfect...but i'm not a big fan of autobiographies for this reason.

She didnt write the book, she wrote medha saeein and this was re written for her.

I've read My Feudal Lord, and while it is well established that Mustafa Khar is truly an animal, she was pretty wild herself. I feel sorry for her, but I totally disdain her cheating on her first husband, and breaking the home of Amna Haq's mother. But what goes around, comes around. She was drunk on the power that came with being Mrs. Khar, and had to pay a severe price for it. If I had to describe her in one word, it would be badmaash. I had trouble sympathizing with her when she was beaten and cheated on by him. She knew exactly what she was getting into. Amazes me that she was barely in her 20's when she hooked up with him, but I think wildness runs in her family. Heck, her little sister was quite the vixen, wasn't she?
Zakk, i had no idea she reconciled with her family. Interesting. I knew she did marry Nawaz Sharif's brother, and that he already had a couple of wives. Will she ever marry someone single? Jeez!
