in punjabi we also call it “khaRavray” !

basically sheep’s feet cooked in a very spicy sauce…take ages to cook…dont ask me how…but my ammi ji makes the most delicious paaye in the universe

Yaar Asif, Paaye Hoon tey nal Tandoor diyaan Rotian Hoon, Lamian Mirchan Hoon tay moon karey C C C C wah wah. We usually don't get payaas here so whenever somebody is coming from Torornto we usually ask him to bring some payaas and than we have payaas party at our home. Even my daughters who does not like most of our dishes love paayas.

LOL @ ahmadi. well it's true "jinnay phajay dey paaye nai khai unnay lahore nai wekhiya". I love paaye and yeh post parh ker munh mein pani aa gaya hai. the last time however when i ate paaye was in NYC and well thats a whole different story which involves lots of trips to the bathroom but ghar kay pakkay huay payee. wah wah.
