Also, this is the reason why couples have kids soon after marraige...so the kids can throw a surprize party for their 25th. Even if we were to start now, our eldest would be only 23! (Hey, thats old enough for him/her to arrange one from their allowance!).

My parents’ silver jubilee is next year in June so I have lots of time to prepare. I’ve thought of the whole thing alreayd and have started working on it with various people involved. but don’t try this at home if you can’t afford it

I’m throwing a huge party her ein TO, with all our family friends (could reach upto 400 people). Then we’ll get them to cut a huge cake which should resemble a wedding cake by all means. (yeah I know it looks like how some westerners “renew” their wedding vows).
Then to top it all off, I’m going to present a gift to my parents, from all of us kids and my wife, a BMW for my dad and a gold jewelery set for my mom.
How’s about that??? I know it’s going to be expensive, but come on 25 years is 25 years. I know my dad always wanted to buy a beemer or a benz for himself but he always saved his money for us. Now that I could earn some money, I think it’s time we should do something for them, na?
I just hope this IT downsizing doesn’t afect my company before this.
