Sarah i feel ur pain... i really do...
1) ... i have not found a satisfactory answer to ur first thought (god being selffish for asking us to praise him?.... ur right on that...(for now))
2) ... i feel that there is no such being as the "satan" ...its all us ... we are the satan... we were created as an intelligent being with the power to let us differentiate between ..good and evil. inside us we have a human part and the devil.
Its all a test... he/she/it made us this way... we are his/her/its little "toys" ...he/she/it gets pleasure and amusment from observing our lives...and i dont think humans are "misogynyst" ... women were created to entice men with thier beauty (human males are uglier)that is what makes us human (LOOK AT THE OTHER ANIMALS ALL THE MALES ARE MORE "interesting" and sexier COMAPRED TO FEMALES (peacocks, sparrows, cattle))...... y were females made more beautiful???...i am still searching
