no idia you tell,
did he played in 60 or 70's ?
but looking a nice person!
I totally suspected it but I confirmed it as cricinfo. It's Wasim Raja, the newly appointed ICC Refree. He's a very nice guy.
Johny Bhai, he doesn't have his name written on his forehead, and some of us are not as old as you are to remember who he is! So ...?
:-P
Its Waseem Raja, elder bro of Rameez.
He used to have a beard when he was playing for Pak. A stylish left hand batsman and right hand leg break bowler.
Now he is a certified coach, who lives in UK or Australia (?)
thanks, sambrialian

He is(was) one of my fav, he was used to do bowling with his right hand and batted with left hand, wondreful person
he lives in UK, has worked as a teacher, used to have a beard which is why I wasn't sure it was him, is a certified coach, and was recenlty appointed as a member of the elite panel of ICC match refrees.
He was man, he was a real batsman. I remember once somebody asked Clive Loyd who was his fav. batsman, he gave two names, Waseem Raja and David Gower...
If any one of you is old enough to remember 1976 WI tour and later Pakistan first tour to India, This guy was the man on both tours.
ive heard, he was very good…

Dont think “you can” know “you can”

i have seen him play.
stylish battsman, but highly inconsistent. I would say 50% Lara.
He got addicted big time, and destroyed his life and career.
Yep he did destory his career, he was capable to face any attack. For some reason he was always good against WI, especially when they were like a terror for whole world with 5 fast bowlers.
He was good against WI cuz he was the only lefty at that in our team, and almost all bowlers from WI were right handed, while couple of batter were lefty, including Clive , Gomes and I forgot

but his bowling action was typical
Not agree with you, Sadiq was also lefty and I think one of the bowler from WI was left too. But I think it was his aggressive style which made him successfull against WI. Gower was right handed but he was also an aggressive batsman and thats why had success against them.
