Re: My Experience with Razia11235
Oh okay, I see.
I normally buy at local Desi boutiques. As this was my first time buying a custom dress online, I didn’t know that people paid the full amount before hand. Wow! I think that is a very scary way to do business with custom made - to pay all the money up front.
In the US it is just the normal way to do any type of custom-made business. You put a 50% down for custom the item whether you are having a table made, a website made, painting done, etc. You agree to a finish product date. Eventually the person making the item/doing the work says it’s done. You review the item - either by photos online or by physically going to see it. You then make any edits or changes to your liking, and if any of the changes deviate beyond the original design you agree to pay an additional price or fee. Then when the final work is done, you pay the other 50% amount plus shipping if necessary, and the product is delivered to you. I didn’t know of any other way to do it other than the way I did it. It is so normal to do business that way, so that is why I asked you what you meant. I understand your meaning now.
