i just wanted to share what a wonderful experience i had with the above designer i met through GS. The suit i ordered turned out exactly as was posted on her website, good quality material, neat stitching, and fitting was fantastic.
the suit was made before the specified time, had some trouble with the delivery (my fault)
All in all a very good experience, i liked her clothes cause they are original designs rather than a copy of some designer.
I will post a pic over the weekend for all to see.
I ordered two suits from malaika, and they turned out to be lovely. The quality of the kaam and fabric is wjat I paid for. I have dealt with about 4 designers from FB and GS bvefore none have come even marganially close to what malaika has produced for me. I will post pics in a day or so inshallah...I got one that is her own design and the other one I sent her a pic.
She is a pleasure to work with, is straight forward and produces quality work. HIGLY RECOMMENDED if you are looking for someone who is not only a good designer but also a very fine person.
I hope to order from Malaika at some point. She is friends with another designer my cousins used to order from and were very happy with. Her stuff does look well made and is original. I think her outfits are little expensive given that some of them have very minimal work but it does look like the finishing is very good and nice choice of fabrics so it's kind of worth it in the end.
Dosa - did you order from the pics in her FB group or some other outfit?

i will def try and upload more pix ..but to be very honest i dont put all the pix online ..at times i work on clients requirements and i dont upload those pix up as my clients ask me not to make their outfit public ..

I just got my eid clothes from Malaika, and wanted to share my joy with you all. To say that i am on top of the world is an understatement, i am absolutely delighted with the overall product.
The material, the cut, the design, the finish, the colour combinations, stitching everything was perfect, i could not find a fault. No i had one complaint, she would not make my young niece a suit (due to short notice on my part!)
I promise to upload the pics once eid is over, but i ordered stuff that was on her facebook page, i think i have mentioned this before, but what you see on her facebook is what you get, no cheating in materials, costs, delivery, or product finish.
What with all the disapointments we expats face with overseas vendors, it is really refreshing to find an honest and trustworthy designer, who btw does not copy, uses her own originality.
Malaika thank you soooo much i could not have asked for any better, I will surely pick up with you after eid.
