There have been many threads on experience of guppies with home based designers. I wanted to start a new one the other way round:)
I have been on GS since 5 years now-and have been a silent reader at times while participating in discussions often as well. I started this ‘kaproan wala kaam’ around 2.5 yrs back but never had an idea that it would be appreciated this way on GS. Every guppy I have dealt with has been so kind and sweet MA and it has been like dealing with a friend/family member. Being in a medical college and a hospital job for years, it was hard to stay away from friends and routine gupshup with collegues when I left my job as I had to look after my son at home but LOVE TO ALL OF YOU who have trusted me and have been in regular contact with me (even if it was for ‘business’ purposes). I have never tried to be ‘professional’ since i am HONESTLY not from THIS particular profession. It’s has just been a friendly relationship that I thoroughly enjoy everytime I am working on an order.
I have never been cheated upon so far (except for ONE case when a guppy placed an order and DISAPPEARED-but Alhamdulillah it was not a big loss and i managed to sell those outfits to someone else) and have been in touch with honest,fair guppans TOUCHWOOD MA MA MA .
cute thread! :) i'll take this opportunity to say thank God i've finally found someone i can rely on. it's so hard when you're living so far away from home and your relatives can't help you get waht you want. moreover, you're such a sweet and honest person! i always enjoy communicating with you (even if it is for mostly business purpose). wish you the best in life always!

To be fair i have ordered from a number of our GS ladies and touch wood i have had a postive experience with them all.
Just thot to read this thread and MashAllah its good to read that some designer is enjoying the customers/clients... :)

Is it for solely YOUR experience with guppies? I feel it would be sweet if all GS vendors/designers put up their experiences and feelings here. It is more encouraging for us buyers to deal with sellers who are more 'human' rather than money making machines-greedy professionals like typical dukaan-daars with an attitude like 'layna hai tau lo, nahin tau jao' type.

i agree skmch, the arrogance of some particular sellers is really apalling, maybe they need to stick to selling via FB as their true "designer" colours have now come to light
