So this is the eid dress I made for myself. It’s just above the ankle length, the sash around the waist is also on the bottom of the dress but it’s a wider ribbon of the same blue/sheer. Again, I can’t do full length photo and the colours are a little off, hopefully on the day I’ll get one of the siblings to take a photo in full…

@muscat99, thanks for the colour combo approval, I was initially going to have grey sleeves and ribbon and then changed it on a whim. Very glad I did. @M_was_here, I am; my mother in law will be happy I've put those classes in use! X

@madhatter, I wish! No, I bought that material (£16.99/m from Abakhan, everything was from there) have a lot left over, I bought a metre thinking I would do the sleeves in that material too. Inshallah I'll get to a point of awesome cutomising skills, baby steps. X
