My Cuticle is Badly Hurt..Urgent Help

I am just sooo terrified of my thumb being infected and its badly badly badly hurting. I even couldn’t sleep the whole night.
I guess I bit the cuticle mistakenly and now its has infected. I can see a very lil pus in it. My thumb has turned red and swelled!! I want to get this pus drained and I read online, I need to dip my thumb in warm water with some amount of salt in it and it will help to let the pus come out, but it isnt :frowning: I am just feeling like taking a help of needle or nail cutter but i am afraid to get it more infected. Please someone help!! I want the pain to get over! I cant stand it anymore!!

stay away it from water. you probably need to consult doctor/pharmacist.

I have, but I want to get rid of this pus and I am feeling like cutting my finger off, right now.. believe me :teary1:

but i heard you need to soak it in hot water to get good results!!

use an antibacterial ointment, like neosporin/polysporin, and keep a bandaid on it. Also, you should go to the doctor. If it is infected, you might need antibiotics.
