Ok so here’s what happened when I called Pakistan this morning. One of my Mamoo (uncle) who still lives in this small city has this son, Umair. Umair is the youngest son and recently started going to school. So my cousin, Umair, didn’t do his homework last week and the teacher hit him once with a ruler (I know it’s bad but what can you do ). Khair, so the teacher hit him right. This is what he does: he goes to school a little early one morning, takes that ruler, puts it in his bag and brings it home. When he comes home, he goes like:
*Wo kyaa thamadti hain apne aap ko. Main bhi unn kaa luler utha key ley aaya hoo, ab dekhta hoo kaise maalti hain mujhe *
What a smart one eh

haha cute. Kids are so innocent. I remember when me and couple of friends started this program in a local masjid (when no one was there) to help kids with Islamic studies/school homework etc (3 days a week). We had this kid name Nabeel. He was soooooo cute and chubby. He didn't go to school yet but was about to start the following year. And he sometimes memorized stuff even faster than others who were going to school and I was like "SubhanAllah, look at the computer of Allah which he created inside us".....but then he left us & moved to canada, he was like shoooo cute, we missed him a lot and his mom was telling me (before they left) that he'll miss us too because coming to us was one thing he enjoyed and never missed :(
