My Bunny

I had to give away my bunny rabbit :frowning:

Well my family and I are going to another state for a week at the end of this month to stay with a friend’s family…and so I haven’t been able to find anyone to take care of her for that long and my parents definately won’t let me take her with me. :bummer:

So, I went this morning to go drop her off at the farmer’s market. I gave her back to the guy I got her from and I felt kinda reluctant because the dude was total trailer trash. :bummer:

Anyways, so I felt a sudden impulse to act like a retard. So I give the guy a stern look and opened my eyes real wide and said, “Whatever you do…DON’T feed her after midnight ” He looked at me and was like “Uhhh okay. :konfused:.”

The idiot clearly hadn’t seen the movie “Gremlins” otherwise he would know that I was trying to be funny in imitating a line one of the greatest films ever made.

Re: My Bunny

:ahaa: I got another idea

Italian Rabbit
Serves 4
Ingredients
2 lbs. rabbit pieces
Juice of 1 large lemon
1/2 cup flour
salt and pepper
3 tbls. olive oil
1/4 lb. pancetta, diced
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped onions
1 tbls. fresh rosemary
1 cup dry white wine.
1 cup shelled fresh (or frozen - not canned) peas
Method
Place rabbit in large bowl and add the lemon juice. Let sit for 15 to 30 minutes.
Remove and dry well. Combine the flour, salt and pepper and lightly flour the rabbit pieces.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high heat. Add the rabbit pieces and brown them on all sides.
Add the pancetta and sauté for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with the rosemary and remove from the heat.
Spread the onions in the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the rabbit pieces, with the pancetta, on top.
Add the wine, peas, salt and pepper to taste.

^ Yea yea I looked for the local kennel services and it was like mostly for dogs and I can't leave my BUNNY in a kennel place with a bunch of DOGS! She'd die of fright :( But I found this one kennel place for little animals laiken it was like 30 dollars a day and daddy said he wasn't gonna pay that much =(

Re: My Bunny

this family i knew, had a couple of bunnies as well. and well, they were going away for a while as well. didn't know what to do with it. we couldn't take them, because the lady living downstairs was allergic to fur. so they decided to give them to some other family, my frnd's. and you know what they did...they ate them!

so i guess it's ok you gave them back and not to anyone else :D

Re: My Bunny

phati...pagal! why didnt u let me take care of her for you?

Re: My Bunny
