It seems to me that Christians in Iraq were doing just fine under the secular rule of Saddam. Are you saying that America was wrong in overthrowing Saddam?

The same way its meant when British Muslims as a whole complain about Gaza yet say nothing about the similar abuses their own governments commit. Last I recall, I see many British Muslims expressing support for the Taliban who committed similar massacres as the Israelis did in Gaza yet somehow get a free pass since after all, they are upholding God's will, right?

But why get mad at the Taliban, they're just doing what their Saudi masters tell them to do. And Saudi would not exist without US support.
The only reason that the US spreads this sort of Islam via Saudi Arabia and the Taliban is to act as a counterweight to the Shia ideology in Iran. So if Muslims protest against the US/West, they are protesting against a violent form of Islam that the US has spread with the help of Saudi.

I'm American, 26, was raised as a Catholic but not really practicing. I abhor abortion but the choice is best left for the woman to decide. As for homosexuality, I don't care what happens behind closed doors but I won't look down on them just because of it.

You have to give the devil his credit. But I simply stated a fact. Christians fared better under Saddam because he provided security. The current government does not provide security to anyone (Sunni,Christian,Shia, etc) either because they are unable or unwilling.

Again, which Muslims are you talking about? Where is your statistical analysis, troll? Most Muslims I talk to will say that the Taliban's is America's creation and that's why they should not be allowed to rule.
The only Muslims who want the Taliban to rule are getting support from the US and Saudi Arabia. So why are you against Muslims who are getting American support?

I think the only way to combat this sort of extremism is actually by learning about Islam. Most of us would not know how to respond to these guys because selectively cut and paste from the Quran. The only way to combat these extremists is by learning about our religion. We can say how Islam is not extreme and it is a religion of peace but how can we prove it?
Salahuddin's flat was awesome! Why does the gopvernment allow these people to get away with this sort of thing?
