Eminem has been unusually quiet lately, but that’s all set to change with the release of his band’s second album “D12 World”. The first single from it is a tongue-in-cheek track about how Eminem’s solo career overshadows the other members. “My Band” is full of the witty lyrics you’d expect from an Eminem/D12 song, and of course has a tune that will be stuck in your end for days on end. This is a great return to form for D12, and better than the mediocre singles from their debut album.

As the lyrics suggest, Mr Shady is in fact the lead singer, and the painful notes he hits are the weakest point of the track. However, it is catchy, if not the best song either Eminem or D12 have produced so far. With it’s comical video, you can’t help but sort of like this. Go on, admit it.

no think about it man.... to be a rap artist you have to have killed 5 people to be COOL. this is the words of Jay Z. You have to have seen the dark side of NYC. All they do is put naked girls and nice cars.. i dont understand how its cool.
