Guys i ordered a purple engagement dress n m freaking out now because its said that even if ur complexion is fairand mine is a bit it darkens ur face ;( besides its purple!! With silver gem work. An andrassa frock i think its called. Wat do u guys think ;(

Put up a pic. Makeup will make skin lighter...and along with jewelry and hairstyle will make a difference.

Bit of darkness never hurt anyone. Even chand has some daag. fikr not. It's all ok.

Purple doesn't darken your complexion. That's absurd. Lilac on the other hand does tend to turn some ppl ashey.

Ok relax!! When your hair and makeup is done, ur jewelry is on, you are gonna look gorg !! Just feel happy and u will radiate!! I have seen dusky gorg brides and fair maiden pull of anything just by looking and feeling happy.

Purple actually suits ppl with fair skin..its a gehra rung which looks very radiant on fair ppl..

If it bothers you so much that you had to post about it then either sell it and get a new one or just save it for after the wedding functions. Or go get a sunless tanning spray.
