hi guys… m currently 29w6d pregnant with my baby girl. went for an ultrascan yesterday… MA she is doin fine and her head has even come down now (ready for labour??? :S) her weight was 1.3kg which the doc said is normal since the normal weight is 1.5kg this time… is this true?
AH the placenta has come up a bit also before it was low.. now wot got me concerned was that the doc said her abdomen is a bit small.. its 27 when it shud b 30. i dunno if i shud b worried??? i m confused. did anyone of u had this prb… plese tell me if this is ok? i tried lookin up the net but there was no info abt this. appreciate ur help!!!

I had some weight issues with my second pregnancy, doc used to say, the head is small and the body is normal!! and this went on each time i went for pregnancy, at first it did got me worried but then i asked around and its normal that some babies dont grow as written in the books. Anway she was born as a normal healty child and mashallah now she is quite normal and average.
if there was anything to worry about doc would tell u to do more tests, so just relax and dont stress over it,

The u/s are often off. The day bfore my delivery, they told me baby was measuring really small, and over a lb under weight. The next day she was born, bigger than expected! mashAllah.

doesnt mean anything and no u should not be concerned. ultrasounds only hold true for so much and the midwife's measurements are almost always off..
dont worry about it :) inshallah you will have a healthy and beautiful baby girl :)

at my 31st week when ultra sound was done before c section they told me my baby weighs 1.6 something kg when she was born she was 1.5 kg.
on net i have read so many articles in which the ultrasound predicted something and when the baby came out all fine and healthy. Insha Allah yours will be a healthy & happy baby just keep on praying.

sorry i din understand ur qs... the doc asked me to come see her every 3 weeks since i got pregnant.. now that i m in 8th i think she will ask me to come in 2 weeks. they call u to see the progress of the baby ofcourse.

thx diamond! which week did u deliver ur baby? i remember she was born premature rite? how she doin now? i also remember u had faced alot of prbs from ur hubs and ILs. hope all is well now IA for u and may this baby girl bring loads of love and happiness and peace in ur life :) i always think abt u and give myself hope to carry on. take care

guys one more thing i forgot to mention in my thread that my doc said i m in week 31 when infact when i went to see her i was 29w5d... dus this happen ? and wot dus it mean?? cus they gave me EDD as may 9... so now that she said i m in week 31 dus that means i will deliver probably a week before 9 may?

It's not unusual to readjust the delivery date based upon measurements and developmet -- it's possible you're actually due earlier.
