I am at my home town (It’s been a very long time since I have met them) now with my parents.I had to go to Cochin today for an official trip and hired our usual Auto.It is owned by a Muslim and he is a very good person.As this is Ramadan time ,I knew we have to return fast because he has to brak the fasting for the day(It’s called `Noimbu Thurakkal’ in te local dialect,Malayalam).When we returned the time was approaching for him to go to a mosque and do his ritual.But he was quite unwilling to ask me for the permission.As I have got many Muslim friends around,I very well knew it was the time for him to do it ,but he was not comfortable to ask me for that.So I decided to break the ice and asked him where would he go for his ritual and he said at a mosque nearby his house and because of the hectic traffic,it seemed to be impossible for him to be there on time.I asked him if he could do it at any mosque and he said it was possible.I rang up one of my friends and asked him to be there at a place (a mosque is there close to my friend’s place)and when we arrived at the place I asked the autowala to go to mosque and do his prayer and come back and I would wait for him.He was so thappy and thankful to me and said he was deeply moved by it.I could talk to my friend for sometimes and had a little chit-chat.
My friend said ,that was the best thing to do for him(My friend was nearby me when my autowala thanked me).
