I know this may sound a tad bit stupid but ill ask anyway! lol
How are these kammez supposed to look on the body? As in the length where is it supposed to come up to? knee? ankles? calfs? Also what are the trousers like? are usually churidaar? or something else?
Thanks!
ohh by any chance can anyone link me to maybe someone wearing one of these kameezes? Im not familiar with the names of different kammeezes so sorry if i confuse anyone!
Hi, the gowns are below the knee from the front and mid calf from the back. They are worn evither over dhaka pjamas or churidars. Im attaching a photo below, that is somewhat of the look you get: removed
Thankyou so much for the appreciation :) the outfits are a million times more stunning in real life a you may have read in my reviews, because I make them smaller for photos on Gs mainly due to copyright reasons. The black outfit and the very dark midnight green pishwas (pic 5) will be £250. Shipping to the Uk is £22, if you place an order today and if you are in london you'll be lucky since my daughter is going there end of October so it will be free as you can collect them from her. Also the pishwas is done on pure Italian lace and silk and is really a stunner. I can send you clearer photos of the black if you give me your email add since I smugded the work detail on purpose. :)
Hi SairaJi. I wanted to ask you something, I really hope you wont take offense or get upset. You know I have admired your work for a long time now on GS!
I have noticed you often mention that you smudge the kaam for copyright reasons, so people dont copy your designs. You also mentioned a few times that you have threatened legal action against those who have tried to copy your designs. I understand as a designer you put alot of time, effort and dedication into each suit and you want to protect the integrity of your work and dont want other copying, that makes total sense. But then what doesnt make sense to me is, if you dont want other copying your work, how come as a designer you sometimes copy the work of other designers? Im assuming you do it when a client approaches you with a picture and asks you to make it for them. Which again, I dont have any problem with, Ive never bought any real designer clothes, always send pictures to get them copied for myself. But then if you will do it for a client, I just dont understand why you keep repeating the stuff about copyright. Again please dont take offense, your work is always beautiful and stunning and you're doing a great job, I just keep seeing you mentioning the copyright issue over again, so just really wanted to ask about this and hear your thoughts
midnighteyes, thanks for the appreciation. I don't imitate any designers work but if clients have special requests I don't turn them away but at the same time I do tell them that the outfit will have my own touch to it aswell be it color changes, cuts, motifs or accents. You can ask any guppie who has requested for me to do something from a particular photo that I tell them that beforehand. Afterall what is the use of being a designer when you don't use your own mind. And I personally don't appreciate people copying my designs and prefer they come to me directly hence the copyright actions. Regards
this cut is more flattering on the figure than the sharp fitted bodices and sudden lose below the waist cut as it creates a straight elongated silhoutte Sara that does not breakup the figure and paired with full sleeves and a churidar/pants what could look more awesome.
sairaji your designs are AWESOME! I think your style is more flattering than our usual Pakistani designers! I'm definetely going to order from you at some point :-)
Hi sairaji,
I just went through your entire collection and im in LOVE with your work... you have a great potential and I can see you make it bigg iA.
I esp loved that the golden grara that u made for your friends daughter I believe. How much is that? and the yellow dress above with green neck .. you have a similar one in red and green too. how much are these two dresses?
I don't know how to upload the pictures onto the forum but there's a fahad hussain bridal dress. pink and gold with long shirt open front and a lehnga underneath.. If you kno what I'm talking bout I would like to know if you can copy that and for how much..Im in love with that dress. lol
Thanks so much for the praise sogul and QTMD! Im really flattered.
QTMD: my email address is [EMAIL="[email protected]"][email protected], send it there and ill take a look :)
As for the yellow/green one it is really stunning in real life dont even think the photos do justice to it, pure semi precious stones and swarovskis used all over, jamawar hemline borders, the outfit is for $198
Hi xoxo, thanks for the praise :)
which purple are you referring to, no 2 or no 6. The watermelon and green is really stunning in real life dont even think the photos do justice to it, pure semi precious stones and swarovskis used all over, jamawar hemline borders, the outfit is for $198, roughly around PKR 16,400. I have just done a similar one for a client in a beautiful light grey, so will be putting that up aswell :) its one of my bestsellers.
The mint green pishwas, it's $199, PKR 16,500 it's a stunningly cut pishwas which is shorter in the front and longer at the back with a round cut with a jamawar border. Stunning work on the neckline with pure swarovskis, zari, zardozi, kora and sequinwork. Paired with gold silk cigarette pants and a fully embellished mint dupatta.
