my arms

are big. i started working out so now i look weird, my arms are too big, i have muscles, i look like a man. i wanted smaller arms, do i have to starve myself for this, my arms arent proportional with my waist and legs.

for long lean mucle tone - you need an aerobic workout

for bulk - a weight workout

...... may want to modify the type of workout you have.

when i run i move my arms. they're just freaking fat and chubby, its summer and i cant even wear half sleeves

yeah aerobic workout is the best way to gp. I do weights but also aerobic workouts with them and my legs and arms look nice, not big at all.

except for, Ice cream makes all your problems go away...............

an Ice cream for breakfast, one for lunch and a proper meal in the evening

after a couple of months your arms will be nice and flabby like the rest of your body.

Are they big because you've bulked up by gaining muscle or do you mean that they are still fat in comparism to the rest of your body where you've lost weight?

maybe its gonna take some time. i just wanted to tone my flab into muscle..it worked everywhere but the arms. yeh theres still flab on my arms in comparison to everything else. do guys like chubby arms

Just keep in mind that fast and aerobic exercise trims fat..while pumping iron adds bulk muscle. I'd suggest some extreme "arm aerobics" without the bulk muscle-building. There is alot of genetics at work here too so you have to "go with what you got" and all that but its a plan, give it a good try and see what happens. Good luck!

It all depends on a number of factors:
How long have you been working out?
Naturally women dont have the body type or hormones to bulk up like men. Sometimes it takes a while for the muscles to tone down and for some people, they do get big and then eventually tone down. I have known girls who thought their pants had gotten tighter for like a month when they started doing weights but then eventually they got smaller.
If I were you, I wouldnt worry about getting big. I would keep working out and doing weights for bis/tris. Trust me you WILL get better. I worked out for a couple weeks only and saw a noticeable difference MaashaAllah.

Oye Allah ki bandi, workouts can include but arent limited to toning using pilates, traditional weight lifting or on those cybex machines, yoga etc etc etc etc

cut down on weight lifting because even though they give bulk and add muscle, once you stop working....you will see flabby arms again

go for aerobic exercises. on the other hand, think of how many guys you can beat in arm wrestling

This statement is not true. It applies only to professional bodybuilders who really tone their bodies up for competitions and then give it up all together. Average Joe Schmoe will not be affected if they stopped working out.

Yes they do! My arms had gotten all flabby when i stopped working out for some time. All the muscle was gone :frowning:
