I want to apologize to all those whom I might have ever offended by saying that their thread was “pointless” or anything as such.
I came to a realization today. As I was browsing through the Cafe, I decided that I wanted to open a new thread. A topic that I really thought would be fun quickly came to my mind. Then, suddenly, I remembered that I had once criticized a fellow guppy for opening such a thread, saying that it was pointless. And then I felt bad.
I learned that I feel differently about different threads at different times. Sometimes I’m in the mood to discuss something intense, when other times I just want to sit back and flood without even thinking. That’s what’s so great about the Cafe. No topic is ever too meaningless to be discussed.
So, I believe all threads are welcome in the Cafe (unless, ofcourse, a member is opening multiple threads at once in which case it can be quite bothersome. )
