This is something I did in Spatch and exported to povray (www.povray.org) and then rendered with the “faked caustic” feature. I am not sure if there are any povray fans here but once you get hooked on - you are hooked for life…

way to go Bro.
I like bryce, lightwave, 3dstudio Max and rhino3d but they are expensive.... I don't like piracy and stick to freeware or affordable software..... I bought my copy of WIn95 which I still use and a few other software..
It was supposed to look like one of my wifes perfume bottles. However, it more looks like a crystal trophy for some golf event.
I too like Bryce or 3D studio but those software packages are expensive... and i LIKE RHINO3D OVER SPACTH but Spatch is freeware and rhino3d is USD 800.00. SInce I don't beliwve in piracy I do believe in free software. The software that I bought were Windows95 (I still use this) & WINZIP. I have the following softwae for free... povray (www.povray.org), mysql (www.mysql.com) , staroffice (www.sun.com) , spatch and hamapatch! And ofcourse IE5.5 is freeware.
