Hi amaya! my little one didn’t like plain water either. He ended up just having cordial for a long time- not the best choice!
Just keep offering water all the time- have you tried lots of different types of cups etc?
it’s only since he turned 15 months that he will drink plain water quite happily especially out of a straw cup or even a normal glass.
don’t worry your baby will start to drink.
A 9 month old.doesn’t have mu h need for water… It’s eating.pureed.food… Or semi solid…Nd drinkin lots.of milk. It’s not an issue.
Real intrest in water doesn’t.develop until they r on full solids and less amount.of.milk. when a meal becomes a proper meal, you need water.to chugg stuff.down with.

thanx for reply. But i think he hv prob dehyadration. as loose motion start and same time i give him bio20 tab.
In summer he drinks water happily. but nt taking even a single sip. my elders sayng give him water with sandal sharbat otherwise he has prob of dehydration.
As related with his diet,I feed him whenever he needs. I give him egg yolk in the moring , for lunch and dinner i try to give same as i eat like roti or rice. Drink one bottle of milk of 5 oz around 6pm. I also give cerelec with banana chopped in it once a day around 1pm. Is it fine ?still nt to worry.

Milk only once is a big problem, he needs around 30 oz milk in a day. It will also keep him hydrated. No need for sandal sharbat or any other sharbat.

Yeah he really needs a lot mre milk than you are feeding him. =/ It’s one of his main source of hydration and nutrition until 12 months. Make his milk intake higher and he shouldn’t have any problem inshAllah.

Ok thanx a lot. I myself dnt want to give him any sharbat. I start to give him bottle thrice time during 24 hours. He has also colic prob and spit milk a lot. So for time being , i just give him 3 bottle. nw would be fne or add more?

Your baby needs 24-30oz of breast or/and formula milk in 24 hours. Now it depends on you if you divide that quantity in 3 bottles or 4 bottles or 6 bottles.

i am doing breast feeding almost every after 2 hours. and after 3am in the night , he demands the milk after an hour. cant able to count how much he has taken . but i try to fulfill him.
