My 25th birthday brunch!

Hey guys! I was not planning on doing anything for my 25th birthday but I’ve decided to do a birthday brunch anyways. I’ve celebrated my every birthday until I turned 20 and then I stopped, but so much head ache because I tried to out do myself each year …
I’ve always done big parties that started with drinks and dinner and then dance til dawn :stuck_out_tongue:
so this is something COMPLETELY different

anyhow my b-day is an 2-3 weeks and I don’t have a menu planned I don’t know what to wear, how to do my make-up or anything and I was hoping you guys could help me

  • What dishes to make?
  • When to start?
  • What to do while the brunch is going on?
  • What to do afterwards?
  • What to wear?
    -What make-up to wear?

ARGH!

**What I know:
**
I want a sort of like a dessert table ‘layout’ haha so I want a huge table with square dishes.
Something like this: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LmL5Rx6JvV0/TtSHMVvJ0NI/AAAAAAAAA90/uz6dXXciPjU/s1600/montrealweddingphotographym.jpg

I want to do a mix of western and pakistani dishes … Pancakes, halwa + puri …

I want to do something sophisticated and classy o_0 …

heeeelp!

Re: My 25th birthday brunch!

are you cooking or getting catered?

Re: My 25th birthday brunch!

I'm doing the cooking ...

Re: My 25th birthday brunch!

if you are doing the cooking, just remember, it is your birthday and you don't want to spend your birthday in the kitchen.

I would say 1 starter that you have to cook...rest you can have cheese with crackers, vegetables, dips or maybe just a cheese fondue , 1 main course dish with a side, and 1 sweet. Keep it simple so you can enjoy the day.

Re: My 25th birthday brunch!

I like that ^

I also think you should pick one type of cuisine...like western or pakistani and streamline the menu a bit.

Do you have any preferences when it comes to food?
