On this day, exactly two years ago, I registered on GupShup (from one of the school computers ). I figured it would just be a site that I could go to every now and then if I needed a song or link reference or help with something.
At that time, I was not aware of the addiction. I went back and looked at some of my first posts/threads. Good times. There’s some guppies that I really miss. The biggest change I saw was in myself. I’m a completely different person now, and I guess people change a lot throughout high school and stuff, but it’s really funny to go back and read some of my old posts. (and a bit embarassing at some points )
Anyways, I’d just like to say that I’m glad I did join this site, because I’ve learned so much about my religion and culture, I’ve gotten my first sense of actual responsibility (Moderating), and - most importantly - I’ve made some of most wonderful pals here.
you have acchieved a lot on them 2 years, i mean you are the moderator of Cafe for crying out loud, ask ehsan unkil to give you certificate of achievement and letter of commendation :P
5abi - hahaha I don’t particularly enjoy Modding as much as I used to, but ah well, someone’s gotta do it. Plus, it won’t hurt to put in my college resumes. I mean, like 2-3 hours daily community service is A LOT.
omg it DOES say the time! It actually does! I didn’t even see that! That’s so ridiculous! Why would we need to know the time?! And that’s not the time of registration, it’s the time your account was activated - so it’s probably going by British time…since ehsan Uncle activated most of the accounts.
EMM - yea maybe cuz a thread was deleted or something and some of your posts were there. I’m not exactly sure.
Right right and I learned a lot more about Islam and I mean I'm not a scholar or anything but I know wayyyyy more than I used to...so I think I now qualify to put down "Muslim" which will give me bonus points on the diversity scale. ;)
