You essentially are forced to read someone’s profile, figure out if you want to click on their blurred picture to clarify it → and so you only pay to talk to people you’re really interested in. Which means time wasters are financially forced to not contact 100 girls for time pass, they put in the time and money to contact the people they want to talk to. So if you get contacted by a guy, chances are he’s sincere and serious about marriage, and he has read through your profile description and likes your description before he tries communicating with you.
It’s a UK service, I don’t think they’re based in the US at this point.

Or actually maybe they are based in the UK, I just set up my profile, and of all the websites I've been so, so far I'm loving it in terms of set up. Not sure how many guys and girls are on there, it looks like roughly 500-600 of each. Most will probably be living in the UK.
But the profile they make for you is super cute, and very neatly laid out. Good web design. The best visual profile ever actually.
And you can buy "credits", which are like tokens, and you just buy enough as far as you want to use them, so if you only see 10 guys you wish to connect with, then buy 10 profiles worth of tokens and contact them. No need to pay for 6 months or 12 months and unnecessarily keep yourself on a website that's not going anywhere.

I looked up the UK matches, there are about 300+ guys in the UK, and at least by the first page, there are some good catches on there! I always found that the UK has some decent educated guys, if you are willing to scavenge on websites for them.
There are about 30 or so guys in the US, but they seem like good matches.
What I found ODD about the whole thing → the girls are not blurring their pictures, but the guys are! In fact, almost all the US guys have blurred their pictures, which requires the girl pay to un-blur the picture and then to initiate a conversation. Meanwhile, the guys can peruse the girls’ profiles and see pictures without paying.
It’s so clear that in the rishta scene, it’s the girls that are desperately competing for rishtas, and the guys are just sitting back and enjoying the show.
