Maybe shiachat might help? though it is kind of an extremist shiite site about the stuff they say about sunnis...

^ surely the topic has been discussed a zillion times there as well ...my question is very pointed dont want to get into the discussion of what is "logical" or "immoral" etc

problem is there is a much broader bunch of people on that site that would be able to give (good or bad) answers to your question. here i dunno how many shias there are, certainly not very many that i know of.

there are few very knowlegable shias here as well as far as i know
