If you’re a fan of zombies do yourself a favor and clear your schedule for the next three minutes, because you’re not going to want to miss this. It’s the “announcement trailer”](Dead Island Announcement Trailer - IGN) for ‘Dead Island.’ What’s ‘Dead Island’ you ask? It’s a first-person shooter about a tropical resort infested with zombies.
Don’t let the fact that we’re talking about a video game deter you at all, however. This trailer shows nothing of the gameplay. Just think of it as a short film about zombies. A beautiful, haunting and incredibly well-crafted short film about zombies, I should say. I’ve got no problem going out on a limb and calling this my favorite zombie-related bit of media since Zack Snyder’s ‘Dawn of the Dead.’
Yes, it’s that good.
